Christian Pulisic spoke of his enthusiasm for joining the Blues this summer, and the American made his first interview as Blue.

The striker will join Chelsea in the preseason, having joined Borussia Dortmund for the first time in January, before returning to the German side on loan for the rest of this campaign. Pulisic played his part when Dortmund seeks to lift the Bundesliga title by going to the final round of matches.

The American admits that it is a “dream” to play in the Premier League and says he is ready to give everything as a Chelsea player.

“It’s amazing and I’m very excited to start working in Chelsea,” said Christian.

“Obviously, I have a season to finish with Dortmund, but I’m looking forward to being here [with Chelsea], it’s going to be an amazing experience, I can not wait, and I’m here in England, I can speak English again and get together. of which I am very happy.

“I’ve been waiting a long time for this and playing in the Premier League has been one of my biggest dreams, being a Chelsea player is a great honor and something that really excites me.”

The forward is already eager to meet his new teammates and has been watching with interest how we are doing this season.

But who are you most anxious to find?

“There are so many great players here and I can not wait to work with all of them,” he said.

“I’m excited to play alongside N’Golo Kante, I think he’s a fantastic player and I can not wait to meet him.”

“There are also the backline players, players like David Luiz and [Toni] Rudiger, I hope to work with them and I think it’s going to be really great.”

Moving to Germany as a teenager was a big step for Pulisic and his family, but it’s something that he feels has benefited him as a player and as a person, and now he feels ready for the next transition: if he moves to England and the Premier League.

“I think coming here will be a smooth transition for me, since I know the language and things like that,” said the man from Hershey, Pennsylvania.

“It was more difficult when I went to Germany for the first time, but I learned a lot as a player and as a person and I feel ready for the next big challenges that lie ahead.”

“I like to think that I am a good team player, a guy who gives everything and tries to bring my style of attack to the side, I will do what I can to help the team win games.”
